Built on Sonatype Lifecycle’s powerful policy engine and powered by Sonatype Intelligence, the Advanced Legal Pack instantly streamlines OSS license compliance by giving legal teams and developers a way to understand license obligations and automate the collection, compilation, reporting, and remediation of OSS legal obligations, drastically improving team productivity and eliminating manual work.

Course Goals

This course outlines how The Advanced Legal Pack (ALP),  a licensed add-on to Sonatype Lifecycle, is helping  Legal and Development teams realize a faster and more accurate way to manage their OSS license obligations and speed up legal compliance.

Lots of claims, but doesn't show how the product fulfills those claims

Felt rushed. As someone with little knowledge of what's required from a legal standpoint, I really need someone to walk me through the ALP workflow. This course doesn't show me how ALP helps a corporate lawyer. It makes a lot of claims, but doesn't walk me through the workflow so I can see the benefits myself.

Scope of Licenses ALP Knows the Obligatiosn for.

ALP knows the obligations of over 1500 licenses and will automatically collect and report most of what is needed in an attribution report. Also allows attribution reposrts to be generated on application categories
